My clinical work focuses on working with trauma, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders in adults through a trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming lens.

My overarching approach pivots on Compassion Focused Therapy (built on evolutionary, neuroscience, social psychology roots, and neurophysiology of attachment). I also incorporate parts work theories (e.g., IFS, Strength of All Parts, DNMS), and psychodynamic theories (e.g., transference-focused therapy, AEDP).

I approach all clients with a trauma-informed lens that incorporates non-regressive approaches to reprocessing. I am trained in EMDR, including preverbal, complex trauma, and dissociation protocols; Accelerated Resolution Therapy (A.R.T.), which is similar to EMDR; the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) for complex trauma; Sandplay Therapy; the Safe and Sound Protocol; and general sensory processing methods. I’m also trained in cognitive models such as Narrative Exposure Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. 

I supervise clinicians who are passionate about learning to work from a truly trauma-informed paradigm that reduces the risk of re-traumatization and iatrogenic harm. In supervision, I use an integrated approach of developmental, compassion-focused, feminist, and relational theories.

I am interested in helping supervisees develop their self-as-therapist, as well as supporting supervisees in their practical skill development. I also tend to lean on curiosity with open-ended questions to invite your experience and self-reflection, while offering constructive feedback and suggestions where appropriate.
